Terms of Service

Last updated October 31, 2026. Applies to Loopr 1.0 for iPhone and to the-loopr.app.

The short version. Loopr 1.0 is free. There is no account and no in-app purchase. It helps you keep track of subscriptions, but it is not financial advice, so check anything important against your bank or card statement.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Loopr you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard Apple EULA) and the App Store terms, which apply between you and Apple.

2. Free to use

Loopr 1.0 is provided free of charge. It has no purchase price, no in-app purchases, no ads and no subscription of its own, and it does not ask for payment details. If a future version adds paid features, we will say so clearly before you are charged anything, and these terms will be updated. Nothing is ever charged to you without your own action in the App Store.

3. What Loopr does, and what it does not

Loopr is a subscription-tracking tool. Details read from a receipt (amounts, dates, billing cycles, renewal dates) are an automatic estimate and can be wrong. Reminders are a convenience and may be late or missed, for example if notifications are turned off or your device is off. Always check against your actual bank or card statement and the merchant before making a financial decision, and do not rely on Loopr alone to cancel or avoid a charge.

Loopr does not connect to your bank, move money, or cancel subscriptions for you. It is not financial, tax or legal advice.

4. Your data

Your data is stored on your device and, if you turn on backup, in your own iCloud account. Loopr has no copy of it, so we cannot recover data that was erased or lost with a device that had no backup. You are responsible for keeping backups you care about. How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Third-party names

Loopr is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the merchants or services that appear in your tracked subscriptions. Their names and logos belong to their owners.

7. Ownership

Loopr, its design and its code belong to Velnix and are licensed to you, not sold, for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control. Your subscriptions and receipts remain yours.

8. No warranty

Loopr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velnix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including charges you were not warned about, missed renewals or cancellations, or lost data. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

10. Changes and ending

We may update the app or these terms, and we will change the date above when we do; for material changes we will tell you in the app or on this site. Continuing to use Loopr after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Loopr at any time by deleting the app. We may stop offering it, or part of it, at any time.
